What you’ve been up to since graduation:
After graduating, I went on to earn my Music Business degree from Anderson University and then made the move to Nashville, TN. In 2023, I wrote, recorded, and released my debut EP, Bad Habits, which was such a meaningful milestone for me. I currently work as a lead server at a well-known restaurant in East Nashville, and during the winter season, I also work as a professional Christmas decorator—which is as fun as it sounds!
Any recent accomplishments or milestones you’re proud of:
Over the past few years, I’ve built a strong and loving community here in Nashville and become very involved in my church, Cross Point. I’m proud to be living independently and providing for myself and my dog, Snacks. I recently celebrated six years in Nashville and have started planning and hosting curated occasions—everything from dog birthday parties to girl dinners and craft nights—as I work toward launching my own event-planning business.
How your time at TPCS prepared or influenced you in your journey:
TPCS gave me a safe and encouraging place to try new things, ultimately helping me discover both my passion and my confidence in music. It taught me that I’m capable of doing hard things and making bold decisions—lessons that shaped my journey to Nashville and may one day soon lead me to NYC. My time at TPCS also helped me grow in my faith and build the foundation I still rely on today as I pursue a relationship with Jesus.
A favorite memory or takeaway from your TPCS years:
One of my favorite memories is being part of TPCS’s first-ever musical, Xanadu, and now getting to see how beautifully the fine arts department has grown. I’m also grateful for the leadership opportunities I had, serving as captain of the basketball and volleyball teams, and as vice president of the Student Council. Those experiences prepared me well, and I now find myself stepping into leadership roles in my adult life.
