Celebrating 2025

Generosity, Achievement, and Purpose

A Year Shaped By

As I look back on the past twelve months, I am filled with gratitude for the growth, faithfulness, and perseverance that continue to define our community. We have watched our students stretch into new challenges, our staff pour their hearts into teaching and mentorship, and our families strengthen the partnership that makes our school feel like home. The story of this year has been one of steady progress and deepened purpose.

This year also brought moments that reminded us just how powerful it is when our community rallies together. Thanks to the generosity of families who stepped forward, construction has begun on a brand-new playground at our Lower School. This project represents far more than new equipment and fresh space. It is a picture of what happens when families see a need and choose to invest in the daily experience of every child who walks through our doors.

We also celebrated an incredible achievement from our robotics program. Our 8th grade team earned the state championship title and advanced all the way to the World Robotics Competition. Their success reflects countless hours of preparation, teamwork, and the guidance of staff and parents who believe deeply in giving students opportunities to explore and excel in fields that will shape the future.

Behind the scenes, our staff continued the important work of preparing for our upcoming ACSI accreditation in 2026. This process has required thoughtful reflection and dedicated effort across every department. It is a significant step in ensuring that our academic programs remain strong, aligned, and rooted in best practices. More importantly, it reflects our ongoing commitment to being a Jesus-Centered, Relationally-Driven, and Educationally-Anchored school.

Most of all, we witnessed God at work through countless moments of growth, encouragement, and transformation. Every story shared in this report reflects His faithfulness to our mission and to the families we serve.

Thank you for trusting us. Thank you for praying for us. Thank you for linking arms with us as we equip students to live out their Kingdom purpose. Your support, presence, and belief in our mission continue to shape the future of our school in powerful ways.

I cannot wait to see what God has in store as we step into a new year together. With a spirit of gratitude and a renewed sense of hope, I am confident that we will continue to grow, learn, and thrive as a community rooted in faith and committed to every child we serve.

In Christ,

Debbie Byely

Our Board of Directors

Our Board of Directors has continued to provide steady guidance and faithful leadership throughout the past year. Their commitment to our mission has shaped the direction of our school and strengthened the foundation we are building for the future. We are especially grateful for the service of Mike Tooley, who stepped into the role of Board President in 2025. His thoughtful leadership and clear focus on our Jesus-Centered, Relationally-Driven, and Educationally-Anchored mission have already had a meaningful impact on our school community. We appreciate each board member for the wisdom, time, and prayer they invest in Traders Point Christian Schools and for the ways they champion the success and well being of every student.

Our Leadership Team

Our Leadership Team continues to play a vital role in shaping a school environment where students are known, supported, and encouraged to grow. This year brought exciting developments as we welcomed new leaders who bring strong experience and a deep passion for our mission. Tyler Smith joined us as our new Chief Financial Officer, stepping into the role with clarity and enthusiasm for stewarding our resources wisely. We also welcomed Scott Furnish as our new Director of Mission Advancement, bringing fresh energy and a strong commitment to engaging families, donors, and partners in the work God is doing through our school.

At the same time, we are celebrating the retirement of Cheri Thompson at the end of this school year. She has served faithfully as CFO for many years. Her dedication, care, and leadership have helped strengthen our school in countless ways. We are grateful for her legacy of excellence and wish her every joy in this next season.

Our leadership team continues to work with unity and purpose as they guide Traders Point forward and champion the success of every child we serve.

The heart of Traders Point Christian Schools is found in the people who serve our students each day. Our staff continues to model what it means to provide a Jesus-Centered, Relationally-Driven, and Educationally-Anchored education. Their dedication shows up in the small daily moments that build trust and in the larger efforts that shape a thriving learning environment. This year we celebrate the commitment of a team that consistently goes above and beyond to support students, partner with families, and strengthen our school community. Their passion and longevity remind us that our mission advances because of the people who live it out with purpose and joy.

Making a Difference

Celebrating a Career of

For twenty years, Tammy Guard faithfully served the students and families of Traders Point Christian Schools. That is thousands of days spent teaching, praying, listening, encouraging, and showing up with consistency and care. Those who had the privilege of working alongside her know that Tammy’s impact reaches far beyond lesson plans and classroom walls.

Tammy taught with humility and grace, always placing the needs of her students and colleagues above her own. She listened thoughtfully, responded with wisdom, and led with a calm, steady spirit that reflected her deep trust in the Lord. Her classroom was a place where patience, kindness, and compassion were not just taught, but lived out every day.

During her last year teaching, Tammy continued to model what it means to run the race faithfully. Day after day, she met her students with truth and tenderness, extending grace while consistently pointing them to Jesus. Through every difficulty, her light never dimmed.

Tammy’s legacy is found in the countless students whose lives were shaped by her faithful presence, in the coworkers who were strengthened by her example, and in the families who entrusted her with their children year after year. Her quiet leadership and steadfast love leave a lasting mark on our school community.

As we celebrate her retirement, we give thanks for the way God used Tammy Guard to shepherd young hearts and reflect His love so beautifully. While her role may now be filled, her impact never can be replaced.

Thank you, Tammy, for twenty years of faithful service, unwavering commitment, and a life that pointed others to Christ. Your light has shone brightly here, and it will continue to shine in every life you have touched.

Our 2025 Fundraising Efforts

Fundraising continues to play a vital role in strengthening the mission of Traders Point Christian Schools. The generosity of our families, staff, and partners allows us to do far more than tuition alone can support. This year, your giving helped us enhance academic programs, support student experiences, and invest in resources that elevate learning across every division. These contributions ensure that we can continue providing a Jesus centered education that equips students to grow in wisdom, character, and faith.

As we review the financial picture for the 2024 to 2025 school year, we remain committed to stewarding every gift with care. Each donation represents a shared belief in the impact of Christian education and a desire to help students flourish. We are grateful for every person who chose to invest in our mission and partner with us in shaping the future of our school.

The Cost of Education in

Providing a high quality Christian education requires resources that reach far beyond the classroom. Every program, every service, and every moment of student support represents an investment in the whole child. This year’s financial picture reflects our commitment to offering an experience that is academically strong, spiritually formative, and relationally grounded. While tuition covers a significant portion of these expenses, it does not cover the full cost of educating each student. Careful stewardship, generous giving, and strategic planning allow us to bridge that gap and ensure that our students continue to receive the well rounded education they deserve.

The 2024 to 2025 school year provides a clear view of what it takes to operate a school that maintains excellence while caring deeply for every student. These numbers tell the story of a community that invests in people, programs, and facilities so that students can thrive in every area of their development.

Partnering Togehter To Advance the Mission

Everything we do at Traders Point Christian Schools is made stronger through partnership. When families choose to give, they are not simply supporting programs or projects. They are investing in the daily formation of students, the excellence of our classrooms, and the spiritual foundation that shapes lives far beyond graduation.

Your generosity allows us to move forward with confidence and momentum. It helps us meet needs as they arise, pursue opportunities with wisdom, and continue offering an education that is Jesus-Centered, Relationally-Driven, and Educationally-Anchored. Together, we can go further and faster in fulfilling the mission God has entrusted to this school.

The Strength of a Generous Community

The generosity of our families continues to shape the daily experience of our students in meaningful and practical ways. This year, our community stepped forward to support projects that improve safety, enrich learning, and care for students and families in moments of need. These efforts show the heart of Traders Point Christian Schools and the shared commitment to creating an environment where every child can thrive. Each gift, large or small, reflects a deep belief in the mission of our school and a desire to serve our students well.

Throughout the year, family giving made an impact through several key projects. Funding helped advance improvements to our playground, creating a safe and engaging space for students to learn and play. Support for updated locks strengthened campus security and gave our staff greater confidence in keeping students safe. Many families also participated in the Christmas Blessing Bags initiative, providing encouragement and practical care to those in our community who needed it most. Even everyday enhancements like updated car tags were made possible through the generosity of families who simply want to help our school run well.

Together, these projects serve as reminders that generosity is not only measured in numbers. It is seen in the shared willingness to meet a need, lift a burden, and invest in the flourishing of every student.

Our community continues to be one of the greatest strengths of Traders Point Christian Schools. Families, students, and staff consistently share how they see our mission lived out in classrooms, hallways, and daily interactions. This year’s State of the School Report reflects that shared experience and highlights the growth, unity, and commitment that define our school. The feedback we received affirms what makes TPCS special and guides us as we keep working to create a place where every student is known, supported, and encouraged to grow in their God given purpose.

A Look Ahead to 2026

As we look toward 2026, our school is preparing for one of the most meaningful milestones in our history. The 2026 to 2027 school year will mark the 50th anniversary of Traders Point Christian Schools. This celebration will give us the chance to honor the faithfulness of God, reflect on the generations of students whose lives have been shaped here, and look ahead to the mission that continues to guide us. It will be a year filled with gratitude, connection, and stories that remind us why this school exists in the first place. We cannot wait to gather as a community and celebrate fifty years of Christ centered education that has helped students grow in wisdom, character, and purpose.
