Traders Point Christian Schools challenges and educates students within the framework of a biblical worldview while leading them to a transformed life in Jesus Christ. We provide unique opportunities for academic achievement through distinct programming which includes our Schools Within a School model, hands-on learning through Project Lead the Way, and dual credit courses. International students gain a higher level of English proficiency through participation in our English as a New Language class (ENL). While in the US, our international students are hosted by a current TPCS family where they will be welcomed and well cared for throughout their stay.

5 Steps to Studying in the US at Traders Point Christian Schools


1. SUBMIT AN APPLICATION

Complete an application by clicking the link above or by visiting tpcs.org/apply. You will also be asked to submit student records and an English proficiency test.

 

2. SCHEDULE AN INTERVIEW

Schedule an interview with the Admissions Department at TPCS by emailing

admissions@tpcs.org

 

3. APPLY FOR YOUR VISA

Upon receiving an offer of acceptance, TPCS will initiate the start of the F1 Visa application.

When you receive your I-20 Certificate of Eligibility for Nonimmigrant Student Status by mail,

you will then schedule an appointment with your Embassy.

 

4. COMPLETE YOUR ENROLLMENT AND MAKE A DEPOSIT

A $5000 non-refundable deposit is now due to secure enrollment. The remaining balance is

due prior to the first day of school.

 

5. PREPARE FOR DEPARTURE

Here you will have the opportunity to meet your student's host family online! TPCS will then

provide you with a list of everything you'll need for a successful trip to the US. This includes any

documentation required for departure, a recommended packing list as well as information about

our local area including weather. You'll also receive a timeline of what to expect during your first

few days as a new student at TPCS.

Interested in being a host family?

Traders Point Christian Schools is proud to offer an international program for students from across the globe. One of the best ways to support TPCS and our mission is to host an international student who is attending Traders Point. Not only are host families following Christ's command to "go into all the world and proclaim the gospel" (Mk 16:15), but they receive tremendous blessing through this special relationship. We seek host homes from among the school or Traders Point Christian Church families for international students in grades 7-12. 

International students enroll for a full academic year, arriving in late July or early August, and attend through the following May. Their home countries may be anywhere but are usually Asia, South America, or Europe.
