Are you ready to Rock the House?!

Our All-School Fundraiser is underway!

There is so much for us to be grateful for here. TPCS is in a new season, one that promises growth and excellence. In our commitment to the fiscal wellness of our school, we are raising funds to help us bridge the gaps. Did you know that the expense to educate a student at TPCS is about $2,500 more per year than the rate TPCS competitively charges in tuition? Did you know that grant money received for our School Resource Officer must be matched? Did you know that ALL non-profit organizations depend on regular donations to operate? With its past building debt in mind, Traders Point Christian Schools is trying to bridge the gaps and needs your help!

All funds raised from Rock the House will be applied to those places with gaps listed above. TPCS is making every effort to grow solid relationships in our community with a Christ-centered focus. Join us in securing this quality of Kingdom education at Traders Point Christian Schools.

God tells us to trust in Him, which is why TPCS is surrendering to God through dance. Just like the Bible tells us in 2 Samuel 6:14-22 David dances before the Lord with all his might, we will surrender to God through dance! TPCS is going to Rock the House to Fund the House.

SAGAMORE SGO SCHOLARSHIPS

Traders Point houses a scholarship fund through the Sagamore Institute called the SGO. This is a special scholarship that provides qualifying families with scholarship opportunities, making private education more affordable so that families can send their students to the school of their choice.

The State of Indiana provides a significant incentive to donors who support our SGO fund through a 50% STATE TAX CREDIT on the amount of your donation. This allows you to give a substantial gift to our ministry while also providing a benefit to you through your Indiana income tax liabilities and there is no cap on the amount of tax credits a donor can secure as long as they are available. Indiana replenishes the Tax Credit Fun for SGO gifts on July 1st of each year.

When filing your state return, your credit should be reported as a School Scholarship Credit, code number 849 and your return must include Schedule IN-OCC 55629.  The tax credit certification number you receive with your receipt letter needs to be entered in Column C and the code number 849 is entered in Column D.

If after filing your Indiana Tax Return you possess unused school scholarship tax credits, you may carry these forward to be applied to subsequent annual filings for up to nine (9) years.

Check the Indiana Department of Revenue website to find the available balance for the current fiscal year. Families are encouraged to donate early in the year to ensure the availability of tax credits.

ANNUAL FUND

The annual fund is an opportunity for family and friends of Traders Point to help bridge the gap between tuition and the actual cost of a biblically-based TPCS education - a dynamic learning community in a beautiful state and nationally recognized facilities and offering national and international student service and travel.  This gap averages $1,200 per student.  People with a passion for Christian education and with a belief in TPCS's mission and ministry provide gifts to the  Annual Fund.

The Annual Fund helps fund:

1. Tuition Assistance - Supporting the opportunity for families to choose a Christ-centered education, where their children can be challenged within a biblical worldview, both academically and spiritually.

2. Technology - Providing network software and computer upgrades necessary for academic excellence for our students, as well as, professional excellence for our faculty and staff.

3. Professional Development - Equipping faculty and staff with ongoing training in educational best practices.

4. Programs - Funding the athletic program, music and art programs, and extra-curricular activities.
