The Application Process

We are so pleased you are considering Traders Point Christian Academy for your child’s schooling!  It is our desire to make the enrollment process as simple as possible. The following steps are necessary in order to become a student at TPCA. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact our office. We encourage you to seek the Lord’s guidance and wisdom as you make these important decisions concerning your student’s education. Applications for 2008-09 will be accepted on or after November 12, 2007.

 1.      Complete and submit the following items:

  • Application for Admission and $75 application fee for each student
  • Copy of student’s birth certificate
  • Copies of most recent student IEP or 504 plans, if applicable
  • Signed Parent Covenant (one per family) and Student Covenant (grades 7-9 only) forms

 2.      Sign the School Records Release and Teacher Referral and give them to your student’s current school (they may be mailed or faxed to the attention of Mrs. Linda Becker).

 3.      Sign the Pastor Referral and give it to a pastor at the church you attend who knows your family well (one per family). If you are not currently involved with a local church, please note this on the form and provide the name of your most recently attended church and any other information you believe would be helpful in our admissions decision.

 4.      Schedule a testing time for your student (offered beginning in February 2008).

 5.      Schedule and attend an admissions interview.

We will notify you of our acceptance decision on or about March 17, 2008 (or earlier as class openings are determined). If your student is accepted, we will mail to you a registration packet with your acceptance letter that will contain forms required to complete the enrollment process.
