Spiritual Growth

Our mission at Traders Point is to challenge and educate students within the framework of a biblical worldview while leading them to a personal faith and transformed life in Jesus Christ. We are intentional about cultivating spiritual growth across all age levels. Every day our students are provided with a variety of opportunities to learn more about who God is, His gift of salvation through His Son, and how we can live a life that honors and glorifies Him through humility, love, and servant leadership.

These opportunities include corporate praise and worship through weekly chapel, daily Bible class, prayer, scripture memorization, annual retreats, mentor groups, exploration trips, and biblical integration in all subjects.

WEEKLY CHAPEL

A special time of corporate praise for all grade levels. Students lead us in worship and a special guest visitor delivers a message in alignment with our spiritual theme for the year. Parents and families are invited to join us each week for this special gathering.

Mentor Groups

Students in grades 6-12 participate weekly in mentor groups. Here, strong relationships are built between the student, their peers, and their leader. Designed to be a place where challenging topics can be discussed in a safe, Christ-centered environment. Students can share their struggles, seek accountability and prayer while being encouraged and pointed toward God’s Word.

Leadership Speakers Series

To expand our students’ understanding of how to use their God given leadership skills, TPCS will host a series of dynamic and diverse inspirational speakers each year, who are active in their faith. These speakers will inspire, encourage, inform, and provide a greater understanding of how students can influence the world for Christ in whatever career path they choose. Speakers will present to the collective student body from grades 7-12. Speakers will focus on career and leadership opportunities that align with our three schools and our credo.

Annual Retreats

Our Upper School retreats take place at the beginning of each school year. This is a special time of leadership and spiritual growth, packed full of teaching, bonding, and unique opportunities. The experience is intended to create bonds of friendship and a sense of family, fostering a strong beginning to the year ahead.

Exploration Trips

Our annual Exploration Trips for grades 9-12 provide students the opportunity to live out their faith through servant leadership. Trips are offered locally as well as through traveling domestically and abroad.

Through these transformational experiences, students are able to gain a new perspective on the world around us, model love and compassion for others, and serve as the hands and feet of Jesus while building deeper relationships with one another and with Christ.
