The vision for TPCA started in 1976 when a nursery school opened within Traders Point Christian Church.

In 1988, TPCA did a study for developing a grade school, one grade at a time. Its first Kindergarten class started in 1990. This one-grade-per-year plan soon blossomed. A middle school was added in 1999. By then, the school’s facility needs outgrew the church’s capacity to house it.

In the fall of 1999, arrangements were finalized with Zionsville Presbyterian Church to serve as a second campus, housing classes for Kindergarten through 2nd grade.

In the spring of 2007 our early childhood program moved into the new Traders Point Christian Church building and the K-8 programs combined in a dedicated facility on the same property.

The next step for TPCA will be the addition of a high school program that will open with 9th grade in August 2008. The plans call for a college preparatory program with the first class graduating in the spring of 2012.
