Early Childhood Requirements

All dates are effective for the 2008-09 school year.

Twos
Children need to be two years old by August 1.
Threes
Children need to be three years old by August 1 and be potty trained. 
Threes+
This is for potty trained children who will turn four years old between August 1 and November 1.
Fours
Children need to be four years old by August 1.
Fours+
This is for children who will turn five between August 1 and December 1
OR
For children who need an additional year of preparation before entering Kindergarten.
- If your child has already attended TPCA preschool, please obtain a recommendation from your child’s most recent teacher.
- If your child has attended a preschool other than TPCA, OR if your child has not attended any preschool prior to this, we will meet with you to discuss your child’s readiness.
